Plattsburgh Housing Authority – Family Housing Parking Lots (Reminder)

Notices were provided to all family housing residents on January 17, 2018 regarding the requirement to move your vehicles out of the PHA parking lots the next business day following a snow storm:

  • YOU MUST REMOVE YOUR VEHICLE(S) FROM ALL PHA PARKING LOTS BY 9:00 AM ON THE FIRST WORKDAY AFTER A SNOW STORM. You need to temporarily remove your vehicle from all PHA parking lots and can return to the lot once the area has been completely cleared by PHA Maintenance Staff. Cars can be moved to street parking during this time.
  • The maintenance staff will not be going to your door to ask you to move your vehicle. Vehicles that are not removed by the 9:00 AM deadline will be towed at owner’s expense.
  • To help us keep the main sidewalks clear, please DO NOT park your car on any part of a sidewalk. Please keep your car at least two feet away from sidewalks to allow proper snow removal. DO NOT park your car in front of PHA storage sheds.

McGaulley Avenue tenants:

You need to temporarily remove your vehicle from all PHA parking lots and McGaulley Avenue street parking by 9:00 AM on the first workday after a snow storm and can return to these parking spaces once the area has been completely cleared by PHA Maintenance Staff. Vehicles can be temporarily moved to the back parking lot on McGaulley Avenue or to the one-way side street off from McGaulley Avenue during this time. Vehicles that are not removed by the 9:00 AM deadline will be towed at owner’s expense.

Your cooperation is required and is appreciated!
